Imposter Syndrome

Imposter Syndrome is a concept describing individuals who are marked by an inability to internalize their accomplishments and a persistent fear of being exposed as a "fraud." Despite external evidence of their competence, those exhibiting the syndrome remain convinced that they are frauds and do not deserve the success they have achieved. Proof of success is dismissed as luck, timing, or as a result of deceiving others into thinking they are more intelligent and competent than they believe themselves to be.

Fear of Failure

Everyone hates to fail, but for some people, failing presents such a significant psychological threat that their motivation to avoid failure exceeds their motivation to succeed. This fear of failure causes you to unconsciously sabotage your chances of success. Failure for one person might simply be a great learning experience for someone else. Many of us are afraid of failing, at least some of the time. But fear of failure is when we allow that fear to stop us doing from doing the things that move us forward in achieving our goals.

Analysis Paralysis

Analysis paralysis is the state of over-analyzing (or over-thinking) a situation so that a decision or action is never taken, in effect paralyzing the outcome. A decision can be treated as over-complicated, with too many detailed options, so that a choice is never made. A person might be seeking the optimal or "perfect" solution upfront, and fear making any decision which could lead to bad results, while on the way to a better solution.

Coffee Chats are 4-week programs held once a week via Webcam.

Groups are limited to 6 women allowing for private, individualized feedback (This is a No Judgment Zone).

Sessions last for 1 hour giving you time to discuss your weekly successes and roadblocks.

Each week includes new assignments and resources helping you practice your new skills (Real life – no fluff).

Self-Limiting Beliefs

Beliefs are the thoughts in our head that influence our behavior, attitude and actions. These beliefs become our version of our own truth. Self-Limiting beliefs are those which constrain us in some way and are often about ourselves and our self-identity. Beliefs are formed through repeated thoughts, and the only reason they hold any weight is because you’ve decided or agreed that they are true. Once you believe something about yourself, you'll filter out evidence to the contrary.

Automatic Negative Thoughts

Automatic Negative Thinking is a survival strategy that causes us to look for what is wrong so that we can protect ourselves against danger, but it's a bad strategy because our thoughts actually create reality. So instead of preventing bad things from happening, we are actually telling our mind to materialize them. This type of thinking severely limits your ability to enjoy life because thinking on a moment-to-moment basis plays a large role in how you feel and your overall happiness.
